With a heavy heart, I watched Jörg leave this morning – hes continuing south by bike (in the end, that is what we came here to do), and I will spend another night here hoping to get well – plan is that I take the train/bus down to Dong Hoi tomorrow and then cycle up to Phong Nha (around 40km) and meet there. Jörg has about a 120m cycle today, and 80km cycle tomorrow to get there.
Strange feeling being left to myself here now….
So I lay in bed, watched TV, did a short trip to the bus depot to make sure when the busses leave (took about 1/2 hour to figure out that they run every 30 minutes or so in the morning, and I just have to show up and buy a ticket) – we’ll see if its really that easy.
Had a quick bite to eat then off to bed to get ready for tomorrow.
