First day in Vietnam, with all the noise and hectic that fill southeast Asian cities!!
First up: getting the bikes unpacked and set up – this in the small hotel room we have. All went well, no problems with any of the parts.
Hanoi itself is a bustling city with lots of corners and lanes – the old part of town with its traditional guilds, now filled with a vast variety of shops, tourist spots, and street food. But traffic traffic traffic (mostly scooters) everywhere in the small lanes.
The main lake was nice, though the constant noise distracted from its beauty.
Almost everyone is wearing thick jackets of down pullovers/jackets here. And masks against the smog/dust everywhere…
